The Lord said to Isaiah, “Go, and tell this people: ‘Keep on hearing, but DO NOT UNDERSTAND; Keep on seeing, but DO NOT PERCEIVE (observe).’ “Make the heart of this people dull, And their ears heavy, And shut their eyes; Lest they see with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And return and be healed.” (Isaiah 6:9-10) What the Lord is saying to Isaiah, after many years of seeing His people constantly disobeying His word, is “I know you listen but you do not understand or care what I am saying to you.”
Being delivered from a life of drug and alcohol abuse and the life style that goes with that, at age 29 I was so blessed to sit under many wonderful ministers for several years and I can say with all sincerity, it was the BEST THING that could have happened to me. But I noticed that while the preaching and teaching was going on, many were talking to one another or on the cell phones. So, I was inspired by the Lord that during the altar call I would go up to the front row and pray for them to be powerfully anointed and that God would open the ears of the people listing. This made me realize how deceitful the devil was to keep us from receiving from the Lord. Jesus spoke to His disciples “And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the MYSTERIES OF THE KINGDOM of heaven, but to them it has not been given. For WHOEVER HAS, to him MORE WILL BE GIVEN, and he will HAVE ABUNDANCE; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.” (Matt. 13:10-12) If a person does NOT BELIEVE Jesus is the Christ, God the Son, he will not be receiving more revelation.
I am so very thrilled to have the privilege to minister God’s Word, I love doing this, I feel it is what God has called me to do for the time and I’m praying for those being reached will become so close to God that you will clearly hear Him about what He has for you to do.
“Grace to you and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He CHOSE US IN HIM before the foundation of the world, that we should be HOLY AND WITHOUT BLAME before Him in love…” (Ephesians 1:2-4)
