“Do you not know that the UNRIGHTEOUS will not inherit the kingdom of God…do you not know that he who is JOINED TO THE LORD is one spirit with Him…you were BOUGHT at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which ARE GOD‘s.” (1 Corin. 6:9, 17, 19-20)
The first thing we must know is that the unrighteous will not be allowed to enter into heaven. Many tend to think that just a little bit of unrighteousness is, less sinful than a lot of unrighteousness, but this is a human way of thinking, not God’s way. His way is, “ALL 1UNRIGHTEOUSNESS is sin…” (1 John 5:17) 1adikia: wrongfulness of character, actions and belief.
Jesus, nourishes, cherishes and loves His church. “…we are MEMBERS of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones. “For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be JOINED to his wife, and the two of them shall be one flesh.” This is a GREAT MYSTERY, but I speak concerning CHRIST AND THE CHURCH.” (Eph. 5:29-32) “…take heed to yourselves, feed the church of God (with the Word of God) which Jesus has PURCHASED WITH HIS OWN BLOOD.” (Acts 20:28) The way that we JOIN to or become MEMBERS of Christ’s Church is described above where a man is JOINED to his wife with a marriage covenant! People will come saying, “…let us JOIN ourselves to the LORD in a PERPETUAL COVENANT that will never be forgotten.” (Jer. 50:5) Something like this, “Will you sincerely promise in the presence of God and these witnesses that you will accept this Bible as the Word of God, believe and practice its teachings rightly divided—the New Testament as your rule of faith, practice, government, and discipline, and walk in the light to the best of your knowledge and ability?” The answer is I WILL!
