1st John 4:8 says, “God is love.” He created human beings for an incredible purpose—to welcome us into His family as His children! He loves all human beings greatly… “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the SPIRIT OF ADOPTION by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that WE ARE CHILDREN OF GOD, and if children, then heirs—HEIRS OF GOD AND JOINT HEIRS WITH CHRIST…” (Romans 8:14-17)
“Sing praise to the LORD…give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name…For HIS ANGER IS BUT FOR A MOMENT…” (Psalms 30:4-5) “…the LORD WAS VERY ANGRY with Israel and removed them from His sight…” (2 Kings 17:18) When it comes to sin and rebellion, “…our God is a consuming fire.” (Hebrews 12:29) “Do not make evil plans against your neighbors. When you take an oath to tell the truth, DO NOT LIE. Many people love to do that. BUT I HATE ALL OF THOSE THINGS,” announces the LORD.” (Zechariah 8:17)
God says this to show us His compassion, “Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.” (Psalms 50:15) The wrath of God is the holiness of God STIRRED INTO ACTIVITY against sin. “…the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave, and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and HIDE US from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For THE GREAT DAY OF HIS WRATH HAS COME, and who is able to stand?” (Revelation 6:15-17) This will happen while we’re at the Marriage Super of the Lamb after the rapture takes place…
