Our Abba Father (The great I AM) says to us, “Don’t be afraid, for I AM WITH YOU. Don’t be discouraged, for I AM YOUR GOD. I will strengthen you and help you. I will HOLD YOU UP with my victorious right hand. Those who attack you will come to nothing. For I HOLD YOU BY YOUR RIGHT HAND—I, the LORD your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I AM HERE TO HELP YOU.” (Isa. 41:10-13)
The Almighty God inspires David to pray, “…though I WALK THROUGH the valley of the shadow of death, I will FEAR NO EVIL; For YOU ARE WITH ME; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” (Psa. 23:4) What about the terrible storms we face on our journey? We may, “…reel and staggered like drunkards; at our wits’ end. Then we’ll CRY OUT to the LORD in our trouble, and He will BRING US OUT of our distress. He will STILL THE STORM to a whisper; the waves of the sea will be hushed. We’ll be glad when it grows calm, and God will GUIDE US to our desired haven.” (Psa. 107:27-30) You see, as the Lord said above, “Don’t be afraid, for I AM WITH YOU.” (Isa. 41:10)
We may ask ourselves am I really valuable to God? Jesus responds with this, “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER feeds them. ARE YOU NOT MUCH MORE VALUABLE THAN THEY?” (Matt. 6:25-26)
