COME BOLDLY TO GOD…

The Word of God comes from our Abba Father, and He assures us that His word has real usefulness, and is infinitely wise. He certainly knew how to construct his word, so it would speak to our hearts; and God has given the word awesome power, so it will fill the needs of all who read it.

“…the word of God is ALIVE AND ACTIVE…it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” (Heb. 4:12)

God never authorizes any tribulation to happen to his children, which he does not use to turn to their advantage. When he permits us to hunger, it is so HIS MERCY MAY BE THE MORE EVIDENT as He provides us with our necessaries of life. Listen to what Moses said to God’s people:  “Be careful to follow every command I am giving youto teach you that man does not live on bread alone but ON EVERY WORD, THAT COMES FROM THE MOUTH OF THE LORD.” (Deut. 8:1-3)

Our high priest, Jesus Christ, sympathizes with our weakness. Even though he is the Son of God, and equal in his Divine nature with God; yet, He also has partaken of human nature, and having submitted to ALL ITS TRIALS and DISTRESSES, and being IN ALL POINTS TEMPTED LIKE AS WE ARE, without feeling or consenting to sin; HE WILL support us when we are tempted.

“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are–yet he did not sin. LET US THEN APPROACH GOD’S THRONE OF GRACE WITH CONFIDENCE, so that WE MAY RECEIVE MERCY AND FIND GRACE to help us in our time of need.” (Heb. 4:15-16)

WE MAY RECEIVE MERCY AND FIND GRACE TO HELP US IN OUR TIME OF NEED!
