“You know very well that the day of the Lord will come like A THIEF IN THE NIGHT.” (1 Thess. 5:2)
We do not know when, we just know that we must keep ourselves in the love of God…
“While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly…” (1 Thess. 5:3)
We have seen some examples of sudden destruction in Texas, Louisiana, Florida and California –– God help these families!
“…we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, WHO HAVE NO HOPE.
Before the end comes we will be “caught up” together, that is our hope…
For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.
All our loved ones who knew Jesus will return with the Lord to be joined with us as we are headed to the marriage supper of the Lamb!
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be CAUGHT UP TOGETHER with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so, we will be with the Lord forever.
Very encouraging promise from the Lord…
Therefore ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER with these words.” (1 Thess. 4:13-18)
WE GIVE YOU THANKS, O LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, THE ONE WHO IS AND WHO WAS AND WHO IS TO COME…
