“Jesus took a blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man’s eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything?” He looked up and said, “I SEE PEOPLE; THEY LOOK LIKE TREES WALKING AROUND.” (Mark 8:23-24) Let’s consider this situation for a moment, a blind man was prayed for and we know the “normal” occurrence, after a touch from Jesus, would be a divine wonder in the miraculous realm. This man’s vision was hindered by doubt that many of us quite often experience because of the devils success in “…stealing, killing and destroying…” (John 10:10)
Satan will do all he can to prevent us from living in the realm of the miraculous by stealing our confidence, killing our faith and destroying our relationship with God but if we are going to fulfill the promise of Jesus: “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me WILL DO THE WORKS I HAVE BEEN DOING, and THEY WILL DO EVEN GREATER THINGS than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, SO THAT THE FATHER MAY BE GLORIFIED in the Son.” (John 14:12-13) We must pray that our Father, who wants to be glorified, will open our eyes to the miraculous realm of God. By the way, “Once more Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and HE SAW EVERYTHING CLEARLY.” (Mark 8:25)
OPEN OUR SPIRITUAL EYES ABBA FATHER…
