First of all what is this LOVE? agapē: the highest form of love, a selfless, giving, non-emotional love, the love of God for man. “Beloved, let us love one another, for LOVE IS OF GOD; and everyone who loves is born of God and KNOWS (ginōskō: have an intimate knowledge of) GOD. He who does not love DOES NOT KNOW GOD, FOR GOD IS LOVE. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that WE MIGHT LIVE THROUGH HIM. In THIS IS LOVE, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son TO BE THE PROPITIATION (hilasmos: the means of forgiveness) FOR OUR SINS.” (1 John 4:7-10)
So, the answer is NO!!! Paul expresses it like this, “I am convinced that NOTHING can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, NOTHING IN ALL CREATION WILL EVER be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Rom. 8:35-39)
Just one more proof, “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now WE ARE CHILDREN OF GOD; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed,
WE SHALL BE LIKE HIM, FOR WE SHALL SEE HIM AS HE IS.” (1 John 3:1-2)
