God says: “…call upon me in the day of trouble; I WILL DELIVER YOU, and you shall glorify me. But to the wicked God says: “These things you have done, and I have been silent; you thought that I was one like yourself. I will reprove you and state the case in order before your eyes, I will tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver! The one who offers thanksgiving…and orders his way rightly I WILL SHOW THE SALVATION OF GOD!” (Psa. 50:14-23)
Some people believe that because nothing bad happens to them when they disobey God that He must be OK with it. But God clearly states that He is not OK with it, in fact God says “I will rebuke you and tear you in pieces IF YOU DO NOT REPENT.” On the other hand if we call upon God when we are troubled and offer Him thanks, then live right He will show us His salvation…
“…we know Him who has said, “Vengeance belongs to Me, I will repay, says the Lord. IT IS A FEARFUL THING TO FALL INTO THE HANDS OF THE LIVING GOD.” (Heb. 10:30-31)
IF WE FAIL TO REPENT WE’LL FALL INTO GOD’S HANDS…
