They experience metamorphosis when they are changed from tadpoles and caterpillars. Just as we experience metamorphoō when we are transformed into a new creation as we are born again. Maybe you have heard the song by Barry McGuire.

We’ve both been born again

“…do not be conformed to this world, but BE 1TRANSFORMED by the renewing of your mind, that you may PROVE what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” (Rom. 12:2) How can I, Bill Stockham, PROVE what is that, “good and acceptable and PERFECT will of God” because I have been, “transformed” (1metamorphoō: to be changed into another form.) “…if anyone is in Christ, he is a NEW CREATION; old things have PASSED AWAY; behold, ALL THINGS HAVE BECOME NEW.” (2 Corin. 5:17)
“…Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain…He was 1TRANSFIGURED before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.” (Matt. 17:1-2) Jesus experienced a physical change to demonstrate to us what we will become physically at the last trumpet, for now we are CHANGED SPIRITUALLY that’s where we become a new creation in Christ. Then when the trumpet sounds,“…I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all BE CHANGED— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we SHALL BE CHANGED.” (1 Corin. 15:51-52)
One very good change that happens to us when we are sanctified, “…our old man is CRUCIFIED with Christ, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer BE SLAVES of sin…In the same way, count yourselves DEAD TO SIN but alive to God in Christ Jesus.” (Rom. 6:6, 11)
