Praying in the name of Jesus is awesomely powerful because when we pray in His name, we pray WITH HIS AUTHORITY. God promises to answer whatever we ask in His name ACCORDING TO HIS WILL. This is why we must seek to know the will of God in order to pray with the authority of Jesus. This truth is wonderful because we have the assurance that He hears our prayers. Through prayer in His name our lives will bring glory and honor to Him! “…I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that THE FATHER MAY BE GLORIFIED IN THE SON. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I WILL DO IT.” (John 14:13-14) “Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. ASK AND YOU WILL RECEIVE, THAT YOUR JOY MAY BE FULL.” (John 16:24) We must remember, “…whatever you do, in word or deed, DO EVERYTHING IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” (Col. 3:17) “When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth…He will glorify me, for HE WILL TAKE WHAT IS MINE AND DECLARE IT TO YOU.” (John 16:13-14)
Not only does our ministering in the name and authority of Jesus bring glory to God but it results in our lives being full of joy. As we know, “…this day is holy to our Lord…for THE JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH.” (Neh. 8:10)
LET US BE FILLED WITH YOUR SUPERNATURAL DIVINE JOY…
