“…the MANIFESTATION (phanerōsis: making visible or observable). of the Spirit is given to each one for THE PROFIT OF ALL:” (1 Corin. 12:7) The gifts of the Holy Spirit are given so, the power of God can be observed. When we speak of ‘manifestations’ or ‘signs’, We‘re talking about the God of the Rushing Wind and the Pillar of Fire, and happenings which leave no room for ‘business as usual‘ for those who go through them. We‘re talking about something happening that causes A PHYSICAL, BODILY RESPONSE IN US THAT COULD BE BOTH SEEN AND HEARD.
“The one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing TO EACH ONE INDIVIDUALLY as He wills…Now YOU ARE THE BODY OF CHRIST, and MEMBERS INDIVIDUALLY.” (1 Corin. 12:11, 27) All are equally important to and loved by, Jesus Christ. “…WE ARE MEMBERS OF HIS BODY. “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the TWO WILL BECOME ONE FLESH.” This is a PROFOUND MYSTERY—but I AM TALKING ABOUT CHRIST AND THE CHURCH.” (Eph. 5:30-32)
Husband and wife are joined to become one, by a marriage covenant, the profound mystery is, WE ARE JOINED TOGETHER WITH CHRIST, BY COVENANT, TO BECOME ONE WITH HIM…
