“Jesus said, “Whoever has ears to hear, LET THEM HEAR.” (Mark 4:9) What is the Lord’s plan for our life? How will we know? These are very important questions we should ask yourselves because only He knows what He expects of us, so, how do we find out? One important lesson the bible teaches us is about prayer and fasting, talking to God and dedicating ourselves to Him with our “flesh” out of the way! We see, that is what fasting is all about, it is not a sacrifice, it is an offering of yourself to God so we may hear from Him!!! The Lord spoke to Isaiah, saying “Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose…to undo…to break every yoke?” (Isaiah 58:6)
If you become too comfortable in the “flesh”, YOUR SPIRITUAL HEARING BECOMES DULL! Only THE LORD can tell you what HIS WILL is for your life, so you must BE ABLE TO HEAR HIM! The Lord goes on to tell you, “you shall call, and THE LORD WILL ANSWER; you shall cry, and He will say, ‘HERE I AM.’ …then shall your light rise…And the LORD will guide you continually…and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters DO NOT FAIL.” (Isaiah 58:9-11) This “watered garden whose waters do not fail” is speaking of the ANOINTING OF THE LORD ALWAYS BEING PERSENT, which is obviously so important when you are called to handle the Word of God!!! The Lord makes a MUCH more awesome promise:
“you shall take 1delight in the LORD, and I will make you ride on the heights of the earth…for THE MOUTH OF THE LORD HAS SPOKEN.” (Isaiah 58:14) 1chêphets: to bring extreme satisfaction and great pleasure.
Let’s make the Lord our source of great pleasure and extreme satisfaction…
