“…you also MUST BE READY; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when YOU DO NOT THINK HE WILL.” (Matt. 24:44)
“It shall come to pass in that day That the Lord shall set His hand again THE SECOND TIME to RECOVER THE REMNANT OF HIS PEOPLE who are left, From Assyria and Egypt, From Pathros and Cush, From Elam and Shinar, From Hamath and the islands of the sea.” (Isa. 11:10-11) In 70AD Roman General Titus destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple of God, killed thousands of Jews and scattered those who remained all over the world. This was the SECOND TIME the whole nation of Israel was removed from its homeland and came back, this never happened to any other nation in the history of man.
The prophet Joel said, “For behold, in those days and at that time, When I BRING BACK THE CAPTIVES OF JUDAH AND JERUSALEM, I will also gather all nations, and bring them down to THE VALLEY OF JEHOSHAPHAT; And I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My people, My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; They have also divided up My land.” (Joel 3:1-2) That prophecy was fulfilled on May 14th, 1948, on the day in which the British Mandate over a Palestine expired, the Jewish People’s Council gathered at the Tel Aviv Museum, and approved the following proclamation, declaring the establishment of the State of Israel. The new state was recognized that night by the United States and three days later by the USSR.
Notice in this same time frame the battle of the VALLEY OF JEHOSHAPHAT, an event that will occur just after the rapture, is mentioned and Jesus said, “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves (Israel becomes a Nation again), you know that summer is near. So, you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, THIS GENERATION WILL BY NO MEANS PASS AWAY UNTILL ALL THESE THINGS TAKE PLACE.” (Matt. 24:32-34) Well of all things Moses wrote one Psalm the 90th Psalms which says, “For a thousand years in Your sight Are like yesterday when it is past, and like a watch in the night…The days of our lives are SEVENTY years; And if by reason of strength they are EIGHTY years…” (Psa. 90:4, 10) Moses lived to be 120 years old so he was not talking about his generation! The life expectancy for U.S. in 2020 was 78.93 years!!!
Right now, we are in year 75 from when Israel became a nation, Jesus said, “till ALL THESE THINGS take place” which includes in Matthew 24 the great tribulation. So, the great tribulation and the Marriage Supper of the Lamb last for seven years!!!
“…be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not except Him.” (Matt. 24:44)
