“For God so loved AMY that He gave His only begotten Son, that when she believes in Him she should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn AMY, but that AMY through Him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17) This has been our prayer for Amy for the past 505 days! Is there something different we should be praying for on her behalf? I know we must have hope, “Now HOPE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit…For…Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But GOD DEMONSTRATES HIS OWN LOVE TOWARD US, IN THAT WHILE WE WERE STILL SINNERS, CHRIST DIED FOR US.” (Rom. 5:5-8) Paul points out that Jesus Christ suffered and died for people like Paul, who was a very ungodly and terrible persecutor of God’s children so, God struck him to the ground and gently but firmly spoke to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” (Acts 9:4)
Maybe we should pray for God to DEMONSTRATE HIS LOVE to AMY in such a manner that would really get her attention! By the way, thanks for all the help with prayer, it definitely makes a difference!
