A miracle is something only God can do. It is the impossible but made possible by the power of God. In light of this amazing truth, the greatest miracle of all is THE MIRACLE OF SALVATION. Which of course is our prayer for AMY The wonderful fact of our personal relationship with God—in and through the death, burial and resurrection of Christ—lies at the very heart of the love of God for all people. Nothing in this world is MORE WONDERFUL than having peace with God through Jesus Christ.
The Apostle Paul, writing to the church at Rome, summarized the basic fundamentals of Christian conversion. In so doing, he invited us to read for ourselves exactly what God requires of us in order to be adopted into His family as TOTALLY FORGIVEN SINNERS, with the guarantee of eternal life in Heaven. In short, the Bible assures us that, “WE WILL BE SAVED” if, in fact, we comply with the two essential requirements for salvation.
- Confession: When AMY confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord, she places herself at the foot of the cross in absolute surrender to God who, through the Lord Jesus Christ, has made it possible for sinful man to be reconciled to a holy and righteous God. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to FORGIVE US OUR SINS and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
- Repentance: metanoeó: to change one’s mind or purpose, think differently after, to withdraw or turn one’s soul away from… “Repent therefore and be converted AMY, that YOUR SINS MAY BE BLOTTED OUT, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord…” (Acts 3:19)
