“…FORGIVE US our debts, AS WE FORGIVE (hós: the same way we) our debtors.” (Matt. 6:12) When we pray this prayer, it is important that we actually FORGIVE those who have wronged us because if we do not forgive, we will NOT BE FORGIVEN! Notice what the Lord taught us in this prayer, that our Father will forgive us THE SAME WAY we forgive those who wrong us!
This would be a great prayer for us to pray, “Let me hear of your UNFAILING LOVE EACH MORNING, for I am trusting you. SHOW ME where to walk, for I give myself to you. RESCUE ME from my enemies, LORD; I run to you to hide me. TEACH ME to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit LEAD ME forward on a firm footing.” (Psa. 143:8-10)

- MAKE ME AWARE OF YOUR UNFAILING LOVE.
- SHOW ME WHERE TO WALK.
- RESCUE ME FROM MY ENEMIES.
- TEACH ME TO DO YOUR WILL.
- LEAD ME FORWARD ON A FIRM FOOTING.
ALL OF THIS IS OURS IF WE LEARN TO FORGIVE SO WE CAN BE FORGIVEN…
