The POOL OF SILOAM has been discovered BY ACCIDENT; the land was privately owned but has now been purchased by Israel along with all of the Pilgrim Road leading to the Temple mount discovered in 2023. “The half-mile running through the City of David, from the Pool of Siloam in the south, continuing along the Pilgrimage Road, up to the footsteps of the Western Wall, Southern Steps and Temple Mount, represents the most significant half-mile on the planet.” According to Mark A. Kellner – The Washington Times – Friday, September 8, 2023. The healing miracle, where Jesus spat on the ground and applied the resulting mud to the blind man’s eyes, concluded in His command that the man “wash in the POOL OF SILOAM” (John 9:7), which the blind man did, regaining his sight.
The Muslim’s assert that the Jews never occupied Israel in ancient times, but this discovery proves many scriptural statements about Israel are indeed true. The Lord says this “For behold, in THOSE DAYS AND AT THAT TIME, WHEN I RESTORE THE FORTUNES OF JUDAH AND JERUSALEM, I will gather all the nations and BRING THEM DOWN TO THE VALLEY OF JEHOSHAPHAT. And I will enter into judgment with them there, ON BEHALF OF MY PEOPLE AND MY HERITAGE ISRAEL, because they have scattered them among the nations and have DIVIDED UP MY LAND…” (Joel 3:1-2)
“Jeremiah the prophet spoke to all the people of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem saying, DWELL UPON THE LAND that the LORD HAS GIVEN TO YOU AND YOUR FATHERS FROM OF OLD AND FOREVER.” (Jeremiah 25:2,5) “And after Abraham’s father died, God removed him from there into (Israel) THIS LAND in which you are now living…PROMISED TO GIVE IT TO HIM AS A POSSESSION AND TO HIS OFFSPRING AFTER HIM, though he had no child (Isaac had not been born yet).” (Acts 7:4-5)
Twice Israel was dispossessed from their land once by Nebuchadnezzar in 587BC and again be General Titus in 70AD, and miraculously brought back first by King Cyrus who funded their rebuilding. Then on May 14th, 1948, Israel officially became a Nation once again. Incumbent President Harry S. Truman, who was FOR ISRAEL BECOMING A NATION, defeated Governor Thomas E. Dewey. The Lord sees that the PROPER PERSON is in place so HIS PLAN may be carried out. “The LORD gave, and the LORD has TAKEN AWAY. Blessed be the name of the LORD.” (Job 1:21)
This all has significance because when the Lord comes back to earth, where does He go? “Watch, for the DAY OF THE LORD is coming…I will gather all the nations to FIGHT AGAINST JERUSALEM. The city will be taken, the houses looted, and the women raped. Half the population will be taken into captivity, and the rest will be left among the ruins of the city. Then the LORD will go out to fight against those nations, as He has fought in times past. On that day HIS FEET WILL STAND ON THE MOUNT OF OLIVES, east of Jerusalem. And the Mount of Olives will split apart, making a wide valley running from east to west. Half the mountain will move toward the north and half toward the south…And the LORD will be king over all the earth. On that day there will be ONE LORD—HIS NAME ALONE WILL BE WORSHIPED.” (Zechariah 14:1-4, 9)
