“O God, You are my God; EARLY WILL I SEEK YOU; MY SOUL THIRSTS FOR YOU; SO I HAVE LOOKED FOR YOU IN THE SANCTUARY, TO SEE YOUR POWER AND YOUR GLORY. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, I will lift up my hands in Your name.” (Psalms 63:1-5)
I turn to you Lord because you satisfy all my needs, “Therefore do not worry, YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER KNOWS THAT YOU NEED ALL THESE THINGS, (we need your POWER and your GLORY, so, what must we do?) “…seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things (your POWER and your GLORY) shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:31-33)
Jesus wants us to have His POWER and GLORY! “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. I pray that THEY WILL ALL BE ONE, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. That they also MAY BE ONE IN US, so that the world will believe you sent me. “I HAVE GIVEN THEM THE GLORY, YOU GAVE ME, so they may be one as we are one.” (John 17:20-22)
Christ made us NEW and “…our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, WHO WILL TRANSFORM OUR LOWLY BODY THAT IT MAY BE CONFORMED TO HIS GLORIOUS BODY, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.” (Philippians 3:20-21)
Can we accomplish the task assigned to us? “God is able to do FAR MORE THAN WE COULD EVER ASK FOR OR IMAGINE. He does everything by HIS POWER that is WORKING IN US. GIVE HIM GLORY in the church and in Christ Jesus. GIVE HIM GLORY through all time and for ever and ever. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20-21)
