“The LORD (who cannot lie) SAID TO ABRAM (Abraham), “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. “I will make you into A GREAT NATION, and I will BLESS YOU; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will BLESS THOSE WHO BLESS YOU, and WHOEVER CURSES YOU I WILL CURSE; and ALL PEOPLES on earth WILL BE BLESSED THROUGH YOU.” (Genesis 12:1-3)
“When God made this promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for Him to swear by, He swore by Himself, saying,
“I WILL SURELY,
- BLESS YOU and
- GIVE YOU MANY DESCENDANTS… Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of His purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, He confirmed it with an oath. God did this so that, by TWO UNCHANGEABLE THINGS in which IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO LIE…” (Hebrews 6:13-18)
In AD 70, General Titus of Roam destroyed the beautiful Temple of God in Jerusalem, removing every stone and throwing it to the side, as Jesus said, “Do you see all these things?” He asked. “Truly I tell you, NOT ONE STONE HERE WILL BE LEFT ON ANOTHER; everyone will be thrown down.” (Matthew 24:1-2) “The days are coming,‘ declares the LORD, ‘when I will bring my people ISRAEL AND JUDAH BACK from captivity and RESTORE THEM TO THE LAND, I gave their ancestors to possess,’ says the LORD.” (Jeremiah 30:3)
Franklin D. Roosevelt who was president and was outspoken about NOT ALLOWING ISRAEL TO BECOME A NATION AGAIN. He died on December 26, 1947, then in one of the greatest election UPSETS IN AMERICAN HISTORY, On May 14th, 1948, incumbent President Harry S. Truman, who was FOR ISRAEL BECOMING A NATION, defeated Governor Thomas E. Dewey. Rabbi, Isaac Herzog, visited the White House to thank Truman, he told him, “Mr. president, God put you in your mother’s womb so you could be the instrument to bring about the rebirth of Israel after 2,000 years.” When the Rabbi finished, David Niles, the president’s assistant, who was in the room, thought the rabbi might have overdone it until he looked at the president and saw tears running down his cheeks.
About this historic event Jesus said, “Now learn a lesson from the fig tree (Israel). When its branches bud and its leaves begin to sprout, you know that summer is near. In the same way, when you see all these things, you can know His return is very near, right at the door. I tell you the truth, THIS GENERATION (the generation of Israelites living at that time) WILL NOT PASS FROM THE SCENE until ALL THESE THINGS TAKE PLACE.” (Matthew 24:32-34) How long is a generation? According to Moses “SEVENTY years are given us! And some may even live to EIGHTY. But even the best of these years are often empty and filled with pain; soon they disappear, and we are gone.” (Psalms 90:10) Last May 14th 2023 was the 75th Anniversary of Israel becoming a Nation…
“WHEN THESE THINGS BEGIN TO TAKE PLACE, STAND UP AND LIFT UP YOUR HEADS, BECAUSE YOUR REDEMPTION IS DRAWING NEAR.” (Luke 21:28)
