Have you thought about the calling on your life, we all HAVE ONE, you know “…as God has distributed to EACH ONE, as the Lord has CALLED EACH ONE, so let him walk.” (1 Corin. 7:17)
This battle we have been going through will help to guide us to victory! It’s not unusual for God to do things like this because it is much better to share what we have been victorious over than just to talk about someone else’s experience. Paul said “…though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. THE WEAPONS WE FIGHT WITH…HAVE DIVINE POWER TO DEMOLISH STRONGHOLDS. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and WE TAKE CAPTIVE EVERY THOUGHT TO MAKE IT OBEDIENT TO CHRIST.” (2 Corin. 10:3-5)
As we well know, this war is a constant war, we must be on guard at all times. “I have told you these things, so that IN ME YOU MAY HAVE PEACE. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD.” (John 16:33) Jesus empowers us to be overcomers, He lives in us, He will never leave us or forsake us, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and WE WILL COME TO THEM AND MAKE OUR HOME WITH THEM.” (John 14:23)
I don’t know what your prayer or scripture reading time is like, but I encourage you to regularly spend time in both of these powerful reinforcing events. Like David said, “I SEEK YOU WITH ALL MY HEART; do not let me stray from your instructions. I have HIDDEN YOUR WORD IN MY HEART that I might not sin against you.” (Psalms 119:10-11) As long as you allow me to, I’ll be daily praying for you, it has been a great blessing for me to be involved in your lives.
