“So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us HOLD FIRMLY to what we believe. This High Priest of ours UNDERSTANDS OUR WEAKNESSES, for HE FACED ALL OF THE SAME TESTING’S WE DO, yet He did not sin. Let us then APPROACH GOD’S THRONE OF GRACE WITH CONFIDENCE, so that we may receive MERCY and find GRACE to help us in our time of need.” (Hebrews 4:14-16)
Since we have been given the right to kneel before God’s throne with great assurance, we very tightly hold on to our confidence in God’s willingness and merciful desire to HELP US.
Because “If God is FOR US, who can be AGAINST US? He who DID NOT SPARE HIS OWN SON, but GAVE HIM UP FOR US ALL—how will He not also, along with Him, GRACIOUSLY GIVE US ALL THINGS? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? NO ONE. CHRIST JESUS who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and IS ALSO INTERCEDING FOR US.” (Romans 8:31-34)
