“…the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for He is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” There were giants (Nephilim) on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when THE SONS OF GOD (Job 1:6) CAME IN TO THE DAUGHTERS OF MEN and they BORE CHILDREN to them.” (Genesis 6:3-4) Satan contaminated mankind by having FALLEN ANGELS mate with EARTHLY WOMEN. As Jude said, “I remind you of the angels who DID NOT STAY WITHIN THE LIMITS OF AUTHORITY God gave them but LEFT THE PLACE WHERE THEY BELONGED.” (Jude 1:6)
“…the LORD saw that the WICKEDNESS OF MAN WAS GREAT in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart WAS ONLY EVIL CONTINUALLY (consistently and totally evil) …But NOAH FOUND GRACE with the LORD.” (Genesis 6:5, 8)
“This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, PERFECT IN HIS GENERATIONS. Noah WALKED WITH GOD.” (Genesis 6:9) It was not that Noah himself was perfect but that “In His Generations” there was no Nephilim influence in his generations. “God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch.” (Genesis 6:13-14) The Living New Testament says, “Make the boat 450 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 45 feet high. Leave an 18-inch opening below the roof all the way around the boat. Put the door on the side, and build three decks inside the boat—lower, middle, and upper.” (Genesis 6:15-16)
God instructed Noah on how to get the animals on board and said, “…be sure to take on board enough food for your family and for all the animals.” So, Noah did everything exactly as God had commanded him.” (Genesis 6:21-22) “When Noah was 600 years old, on the seventeenth day of the second month, all the underground waters erupted from the earth, and the rain fell in mighty torrents from the sky. The rain continued to fall for FORTY DAYS AND FORTY NIGHTS… God wiped out every living thing on the earth—people, livestock, small animals that scurry along the ground, and the birds of the sky. All were destroyed. The only people who survived were Noah and those with him in the boat…after the flood ended…Noah built an altar to the LORD, and there he sacrificed as burnt offerings the animals and birds that had been approved for that purpose. And the LORD was pleased with the aroma of the sacrifice and said to himself, “I will never again curse the ground because of the human race, even though everything they think or imagine is bent toward evil from childhood. I will never again destroy all living things.” (Genesis 7:11-12, 23, 8:20-21)
