“Am I only a God who is nearby?” announces the LORD. “Am I not a God who is also far away? Can anyone HIDE in secret places so that I can’t see him?” announces the LORD. “Don’t I FILL heaven and earth?” announces the LORD.” (Jeremiah 23:23-24) God is Omnipresent, He is everywhere at all times. He knows EVERYTHING we do; He knows every THOUGHT we think, He knows every WORD we speak. When we stand in judgement before God, He will be a PERFECT JUDGE, because NOTHING is hidden from Him.
“LORD, you have SEEN what is in my heart. You KNOW all about me. You KNOW when I sit down and when I get up. You KNOW what I’m thinking even though you are far away. You KNOW when I go out to work and when I come back home. You KNOW exactly how I live. LORD, even before I speak a word, you KNOW all about it.” (Psalms 139:1-4)
“The LORD is God in heaven above and on the earth below. Today you must agree with that and take it to heart. THERE IS NO OTHER GOD.” (Deuteronomy 4:39) “The LORD your God is the greatest God of all. He is the greatest Lord of all. He is THE GREAT GOD. He is mighty and wonderful. He treats everyone the same. He doesn’t accept any money from those who want special favors.” (Deuteronomy 10:17)
WHO CAN OVERCOME THE ONE WHO SPOKE THEM INTO EXISTENCE, FORMED THEM IN THE WOMB, SUSTAINS THEIR LIFE BY HIS OWN POWER AND GRANTS TO THEM BUT A BRIEF MOMENT ON EARTH’S STAGE? NO ONE.
