Jesus said to His disciples, “Go to the village ahead of you, and as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ say, ‘THE LORD NEEDS IT.'” (Luke 19:30-31) Now a miraculous event occurs, prophesied about by Daniel over 2500 years ago, occurs THIS VERY DAY. “They brought it (the colt) to Jesus, threw their cloaks on the colt and put Jesus on it…people spread their cloaks on the road…the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen: “BLESSED IS THE KING WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!” “Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!“ (Luke 19:35-38)
Artaxerxes’ decree to go and rebuild, was the first day of the Hebrew month Nisan in 445 B.C. The first day of Nisan in 445 B.C. corresponds to the 14th day of March. Daniel’s prophecy states that 69 weeks of years (173,880 days using the 360-day prophetic year, the Jewish calendar) after the command goes forth to restore and rebuild the city of Jerusalem the Messiah will come. If we count forward 173,880 days from March 14th 445 BC, we arrive at April 6th 32 AD The first Passover of Jesus’ ministry would have been in the Spring of AD 29. The fourth Passover of His ministry was the day of His crucifixion and would have fallen in the year A.D. 32. The Passover in that year fell on April 10th (The Passover holiday always occurs on the 14th day of Nisan in the Hebrew calendar. This corresponds to the first full moon after the Spring equinox). REMARKABLY, according to Robert Anderson and the British Royal Observatory, the Sunday before that Passover was April 6th-The very day that Jesus PRESENTS HIMSELF AS KING and exactly 173,880 days after the decree of Artaxerxes!!
“As for God, His way IS PERFECT…” (Psalms 18:30) “EVERY WORD OF GOD IS FLAWLESS (tsâraph: tested and proven true); He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.” (Prov. 30:5) James says this about God’s word, “…don’t just listen to God’s word. You must DO WHAT IT SAYS. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like.” (James 1:22-24) SHOULDN’T WE BE REGULAR READERS OF GOD’S FLAWLESS WORD?
WHAT GOD SAID IN THE PAST HAS COME FORTH EXACTLY AS HE SAID IT WOULD, WILL THE FUTURE BE ANY DIFFERENT???
