The truth is, we can be sure about WHERE WE WILL SPEND ETERNITY. We can know with certainty that when we die, we will go to heaven. Why? Because IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO LIE! (Hebrews 6:18) “God is NOT A MAN, THAT HE SHOULD LIE…He said it, AND WILL HE NOT DO IT? Or has He spoken, and WILL HE NOT MAKE IT GOOD?” (Numbers 23:19)
“…your sinful acts have ALIENATED (bâdal: to be separated) YOU FROM YOUR GOD; your sins have caused Him to reject you and NOT LISTEN to your prayers.” (Isaiah 59:2) So, what do we do? “The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself…and the testimony is this, that GOD HAS GIVEN US ETERNAL LIFE, and THIS LIFE IS IN HIS SON. The one who HAS THE SON HAS LIFE…” (1 John 5:10-12) “For God SO LOVED the world, that HE GAVE His only Son, so that EVERYONE WHO BELIEVES in Him will not perish but HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that THE WORLD MIGHT BE SAVED THROUGH HIM.” (John 3:16-17)
Jesus promised us this, “In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I GO TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I WILL COME AGAIN AND RECEIVE YOU (paralambanō: to take away) TO MYSELF; that where I am, THERE YOU MAY BE ALSO.” (John 14:2-3)
