THE NEW BEGINNING…

Isaiah is described the rapture, YOUR DEAD SHALL LIVE; Together with my dead body THEY SHALL ARISE…the earth shall CAST OUT THE DEAD. Come, my people, ENTER YOUR CHAMBERS (the marriage supper of the Lamb) And shut your doors behind you; Hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment (for seven years) Until the indignation (the wrath of God on the earth, the 70th week of Daniel) is past. For behold, the LORD comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity…” (Isaiah 26:19-21) Isaiah goes on in the next verse, to say, In that day the LORD with His severe sword, great and strong, Will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted serpent; And He will slay the reptile that is in the sea. (Isaiah 27:1) Most commentaries say this is some kind of a mythical creature, but I wonder if this is something God turns loose in the Great Tribulation???

God says to Job, No one is so fierce that he would dare stir him (Leviathan) up. God then says,Who then IS ABLE TO STAND AGAINST ME?(Job 41:10) “…the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, HID THEMSELVES (they are trying to hide from God) in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, FALL ON US AND HIDE US from the face of Him WHO SITS ON THE THRONE and from the WRATH OF THE LAMB! For the GREAT DAY OF HIS WRATH has come, and WHO IS ABLE TO STAND?” (Revelation 6:15-17) They do not repent but they know they cannot stand against God!!!

At the end of the Great Tribulation, John said, Now I saw a NEW HEAVEN and a NEW EARTH, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also, there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw THE HOLY CITY, NEW JERUSALEM (its length and width and height were 1,400 miles) coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God IS WITH MEN, and He will DWELL WITH THEM, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and BE THEIR (our) GOD.(Revelation 21:1-2-3)
