Job responds to God after his “friend” Eliphaz’s accusations against him, “What are human beings that YOU THINK SO MUCH OF THEM? What are they that you PAY SO MUCH ATTENTION TO THEM? That you check up on them every morning, looking in on them to see how they’re doing?” (Job 7:17-18)
- DOES GOD REALLY THINK SO MUCH OF US? “…here is how God has SHOWN HIS LOVE FOR US. While we were still sinners, CHRIST DIED FOR US.” (Romans 5:8) “WE KNOW THAT GOD LOVES US. We depend on it. GOD IS LOVE Anyone who leads a life of love shows that he is joined to God. And GOD IS JOINED TO HIM.” (1 John 4:16) “Nothing at all can ever SEPARATE US FROM GOD’S LOVE because of what Christ Jesus our Lord has done.” (Romans 8:39) “GOD LOVES US DEEPLY. He is full of mercy. So, he gave us NEW LIFE because of what Christ has done. He gave us life even WHEN WE WERE DEAD IN SIN. God’s grace has SAVED YOU. God raised us up with Christ. He has seated us with Him in His heavenly kingdom because WE BELONG TO CHRIST JESUS.” (Ephesians 2:4-6) AND FINALLY, “God LOVED THE WORLD SO MUCH that He gave His one and only Son. Anyone who believes in Him will not die but will have eternal life. “God did not send His Son into the world to judge the world. HE SENT HIS SON TO SAVE THE WORLD THROUGH HIM.” (John 3:16-17)
