One day as Jesus and some of His disciples were leaving the temple, one of them said “Teacher, look at these magnificent buildings! Look at the impressive stones in the walls. Jesus replied, “Yes, look at these great buildings. But they will be completely demolished. NOT ONE STONE WILL BE LEFT ON TOP OF ANOTHER!” (Mark 13:1-2)
In 70 AD Roman general Titus destroyed the temple not leaving one stone on top of another. More than 1,100,000 Jews were slaughtered in the attack and another 97,000 were captured and enslaved ALL OVER THE WORLD. The city was sacked and looted of all its possessions. The Romans banished the Jews from their own land and the territory was renamed Palestine. The first Temple was looted and then destroyed in 586/587 BCE at the hands of the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar II, who also deported the Jews to Babylon. That captivity ended is 538 BC and they came back to Israel the first time.
“It shall come to pass in that day That the Lord shall set His hand again THE SECOND TIME To recover the remnant of His people who are left, From (ALL OVER THE WORLD) Assyria and Egypt, From Pathros and Cush, From Elam and Shinar, From Hamath and the islands of the sea.” (Isaiah 11:10-11) On May 14, 1948, on the day in which the British Mandate over a Palestine expired, the Jewish People’s Council gathered at the Tel Aviv Museum, and approved the following proclamation, declaring the establishment of the State of Israel. The new state was recognized that night by the United States and three days later by the USSR. “Therefore behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD, “that it shall no more be said, ‘The LORD lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of Egypt,’ but, ‘The LORD lives who brought up the children of Israel FROM THE LAND OF THE NORTH and from all the lands where He had driven them.’ For I will bring them back into their land which I gave to their fathers.” (Jeremiah 16:14-15) Then from Jan 1989 to Dec 2002 1.1 MILLION JEWS came from Russia (the land of the north) to live in Israel. During the time when it was very difficult to leave Russia.
Jesus said, “So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, THIS GENERATION WILL BY NO MEANS PASS away till ALL THESE THINGS TAKE PLACE.” (Matthew 24:33-34)
EVERYTHING IS IN PLACE SO WE HAD BETTER BE READY…
