ONE DAY SOON people will say, “Come. Let us go up to the LORD‘s mountain. He will TEACH US how we should live. Then we will LIVE THE WAY He wants us to.” He will judge between the nations. He’ll SETTLE PROBLEMS among many of them. They will hammer their swords into plows. They’ll hammer their spears into pruning tools. Nations will NOT GO TO WAR against one another. They won’t even train to fight anymore.” (Isaiah 2:3-4)
Our dear Lord Jesus, “Memorial Day” is a day for honoring the courageous men and women who sacrificed their lives serving our country. The War in Ukraine, and violence is so many parts of our world and culture, highlight this particular Memorial Day. We are SO ready for the Day when “…nothing will hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, for as the waters fill the sea, so the earth will BE FILLED with people who KNOW THE LORD” (Isa. 11:9).
PLEASE COME SOON, Lord Jesus. Until you do, FILL OUR LIVES with bold kindness and compassionate courage; and renewed, retired LOVE FOR YOU.
