TURNED AWAY FROM OUR INIQUITIES…

Are we worthy to worship Jesus, Bring no more futile sacrificesI cannot endure iniquity and the sacred meeting. Your New Moons and your appointed feasts MY SOUL HATESWhen you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; Even though you make many prayers, I will not hear. YOUR HANDS ARE FULL OF BLOOD (because of unrepented sin).(repent and) Wash yourselves (in the blood of Jesus), make yourselves cleanCEASE TO DO EVIL, LEARN TO DO GOOD“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the LORD, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as WHITE AS SNOW; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.(Isa. 1:13-18)

The Lord hates it when we make gestures of worship with sin in our lives, we  must Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be BLOTTED OUT, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus the Christ appointed for youHaving raised up His son Jesus, God sent Him to you first, to bless you in turning every one of you AWAY FROM HIS INIQUITIES. (Acts 3:19-20, 26)

Look at this example of how blessed we are when we are TURNED AWAY from our iniquities, Peter and John went up to the templea man lame from his mother’s womb was laid daily to ask alms, seeing Peter and John asked for alms. And fixing his eyes on him, Peter said, “Look at us.” So he gave them his attentionPeter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but WHAT I DO HAVE I GIVE YOU: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” And he took him by the hand and lifted him up, and IMMEDIATELY HIS FEET AND ANKLE BONES RECEIVED STRENGTH. So he (for the first time), leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God. And ALL the people saw him. Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were FILLED WITH WONDER AND AMAZEMENT…” (Acts 3:1-10)
