The Lord said to Isaiah, “Go, and tell this people: ‘Keep on hearing, but DO NOT UNDERSTAND; Keep on seeing, but DO NOT PERCEIVE (observe).’ “Make the heart of this people dull, And their ears heavy, And shut their eyes; Lest they see with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And return and be healed.” (Isaiah 6:9-10) What the Lord is saying to Isaiah, after many years of seeing His people constantly disobeying His word, is “I know you listen but you DO NOT UNDERSTAND what I am saying to you.”
I sat under many wonderful Pastor’s while attending Peerless Road Church for several years and I can say with all sincerity, They were some of the best ministers of the Word, I have had the privilege to sit under. But I noticed, that while they ministered many were talking to one another or on the cell phones. So, I was inspired by the Lord that during many of their altar calls to go up to the front row and pray for them to be powerfully anointed and that God would open the ears of the people listing. This made me realize how deceitful the devil was to KEEP US from receiving from the Lord. Jesus spoke to His disciples “And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the MYSTERIES OF THE KINGDOM of heaven, but to them it has not been given. For WHOEVER HAS, to him MORE WILL BE GIVEN, and he will HAVE ABUNDANCE; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.” (Matt. 13:10-12)
I am so very thrilled to have the privilege to minister the word, I love doing this, I feel it is what God has called me to do for the time and I’m praying for those of you reading that God will “Breath” His LIVING, POWERFUL WORD into you and you will become so close to God that you will clearly hear Him for what He has for you to do.
