“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, BELIEVE ALSO IN ME. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will COME AGAIN AND RECEIVE YOU TO MYSELF; that where I am, there YOU MAY BE ALSO. And where I go you know, and the way you know. And you know the way to where I am going. No, we don’t know, Lord,” Thomas said. “We have NO IDEA where you are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus told him, I AM THE WAY (the one and only way), THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE. NO ONE CAN COME TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME.” (John 14:1-6)
DO NOT LET YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED…
- BELIEVE IN ME: We must put our trust in Jesus Christ because there is no other way! He died to ERADICATE ALL SIN in our lives. “For if we have been united with Jesus in a death like His, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, For we know that our old self WAS CRUCIFIED WITH HIM so that the body ruled by sin might be DONE AWAY with, that we should NO LONGER BE SLAVES TO SIN—” (Rom. 6:5-6)
- BELIEVE IN A PLACE: Jesus said I go to prepare a place for you that you will be with me where I am, “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a BRIDE BEAUTIFULLY DRESSED FOR HER HUSBAND…When he measured it, he found it was a square, as wide as it was long. In fact, its length and width and height were each 1,400 miles. (Rev. 21:1-2, 16)
- BELIEVE IN A PROMISE: Jesus will come back to receive you to Himself, “For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.” (Matt. 24:27) “For the Lord himself will COME DOWN FROM HEAVEN, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and THE DEAD IN CHRIST WILL RISE FIRST. After that, WE WHO ARE STILL ALIVE AND ARE LEFT WILL BE CAUGHT UP TOGETHER with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER with these words.” (1 Thess. 4:16-18)
- BELIEVE IN A PLAN: Jesus tells us that He is THE WAY (the one and only way). “There is salvation in no one else! God has given NO OTHER NAME under heaven by which we MUST BE SAVED.” (Acts 4:12) There is an old song called “Oh Buddha” by the Imperials
