“Heaven and earth WILL pass away, but my words WILL NEVER pass away.” (Matt. 24:35)
Jesus concluded His “End of The Age” discourse with the above scripture. This is where He described the trouble for Israel’s beginning of sorrows, “Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, RIGHT AT THE DOOR. Truly I tell you (from the rebirth of Israel as a nation May 14, 1948) , THIS GENERATION (that sees the rebirth of Israel) will certainly NOT PASS AWAY until ALL THESE THINGS have happened.” (Matt. 24:33-34)
Just a little earlier Jesus said, “Because of the increase of wickedness, THE LOVE OF MOST will grow cold…” (Matt. 24:12) This supports what Jesus said earlier, “For MANY are called, but FEW are chosen.” (Matt. 22:14) “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that NOAH ENTERED THE ARK (few chosen), and DID NOT KNOW until the flood came and TOOK THEM ALL AWAY, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” (Matt. 24:37-39)
“So you, too, MUST KEEP WATCH! For YOU DO NOT KNOW the day or hour of my return.” (Matt. 25:13)
