“The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust Him with ALL MY HEART.” (Psa. 28:7) Why should we do this? Because Solomon said, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart; DO NOT DEPEND ON YOUR OWN 1UNDERSTANDING. Seek His will in all you do, and He will SHOW YOU which path to take.” (Pro. 3:5-6) 1bı̂ynâh: The first use of this word was in the text, in Gen. 3:6, it contributes to an interesting paradox, for while the forbidden fruit was “to be desired to make one wise,” it was a very UNWISE THING TO TAKE IT! Because it was forbidden fruit. In the same manner, if we are trusting the Lord with ALL our heart we should not INTERFERE WITH GOD by depending on our own understanding…
“He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving. LEAD US like a shepherd, and CARRY US in your arms forever.” (Psa. 28:7-9)
