It was getting late and there were between 15,000 to 20,000 hungry people, the disciples told Jesus to let them go get food, “Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away. YOU GIVE THEM SOMETHING TO EAT. And they said to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.” He said, “Bring them here TO ME.” (Matt. 14:16-18) When we put what we have in Jesus hands, along with OUR TRUST IN HIM to do what He can do, He WILL accomplish it.
“So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained. Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children.” (Matt. 14:20-21) It would take about 40 food trucks to feed 20,000 attendees. But remember the Lord fed about 2 to 3 million people every day for 40 years. Why do these miraculous things happen? So we will realize just who He is, “I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR ME?” (Jer. 32:27)
We desperately need to see great eye opening miracles in this world filled with unbelief and here is the promise, “Very truly I tell you, WHOEVER believes in me WILL DO THE WORKS I have been doing, and they WILL DO even GREATER THINGS than these, because I am going to the Father. And I WILL DO WHATEVER YOU ASK in my name, so that the Father may be GLORIFIED in the Son. You may ask me for ANYTHING in my name, and I WILL do it.” (John 14:12-14) Could this be any easier to understand? It just must be believed!!!
