Zephaniah an Israelite prophet, proclaimed the approaching divine judgment of the Lord God almighty. The Lord spoke thru him saying, “I will utterly consume everything From the face of the land,” Says the LORD…” (Zep. 1:2) Speaking of the End Times…
In an attempt to save those who are doing right, the Lord says, “SEEK the LORD, all you meek of the earth, Who have upheld His justice. SEEK righteousness, SEEK humility. It may be that YOU WILL BE HIDDEN In the day of the LORD‘s anger.” (Zep. 2:3) SEEKING and being SEALED by God is an intentional action on our part. In the Old Testament, God set a sign on His chosen ones to mark them out or set them apart as His possession and to keep them from destruction (Ezek. 9:4–6). We read in (Rev. 7:3) that God places a SEAL on His people to identify them and protect them from wrath. That’s why seeking God is so important. When we don’t seek God, we BELIEVE IN OURSELVES rather than God. God wants us to want Him and KNOW THE JOY AND EXCITEMENT of the seeking Him. There is nothing more rewarding and joyful than that moment, after searching for God, we get to say, “I FOUND YOU!”
Let’s talk a little more of how the Lord will save those who are DOING RIGHT… when the “rapture” takes place most of the Jews will still have not accepted Jesus as their Messiah. The Jews will be under unrighteous deception ”…because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie…” (2 Thess. 2:10-11) The antichrist makes a covenant of peace with the Jews, they realize they have been deceived and turn to God, then the beast breaks his covenant, an angle than comes, “…saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have SEALED THE SERVANTS OF OUR GOD on their foreheads.” (Rev. 7:3) As gentiles, we have to be “sealed” by God as well, “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, YOU WERE SEALED with the Holy Spirit of promise…” (Eph. 1:13) Give your heart to the Lord, receive forgiveness of your sins and be saved, that is how you are SEALED!
