What should our daily lives look like as Christians? “Don’t worry about ANYTHING; instead, pray about EVERYTHING. Tell God what you need, and thank Him FOR ALL HE HAS DONE. Then you will experience GOD’S PEACE, which EXCEEDS ANYTHING WE CAN UNDERSTAND. His peace will GUARD (phroureō: protect by a divine military guard) YOUR HEARTS AND MINDS as you live in Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:6-7)
Who is responsible for our peace? “For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on His shoulders. And He will be called…PRINCE OF PEACE. His government and its peace WILL NEVER END.” (Isa. 9:6-7) This peace will never end, as long as we are in Christ we will ALWAYS HAVE PEACE!!!
What kind of peace will we have? Lord, “You will keep in PERFECT PEACE all who TRUST IN YOU, all whose thoughts are FIXED ON YOU! Trust in the LORD always, for the LORD GOD is the ETERNAL ROCK.” (Isa. 26:3-4) So, we must trust in the Lord, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on YOUR OWN understanding. SEEK HIS WILL in all you do, and HE WILL SHOW YOU WHICH PATH TO TAKE.” (Pro. 3:5-6)
