“…what more shall I say? For time will fail me if I tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets, who by faith conquered kingdoms…And all these, having gained approval through their faith, DID NOT RECEIVE WHAT WAS PROMISED, BECAUSE GOD HAD PROVIDED SOMETHING BETTER FOR US, so that apart from us they would not be made perfect.” (Heb. 11:32-40)
What is this “something better” that we have? Jesus Christ our Lord, the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. The creator of all things both in heaven and on earth. All things were made by Jesus, for us because we are heirs of God and co-heirs with Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the perfecter, the completer of all things. Our salvation by His shed blood, our sanctification, which is His will for us, our healing because He suffered a severe beating so that by His stripes we ARE healed.
Jesus Christ is our victory because He concurred death, hell and the grave. He is the resurrection and the life. He is coming back for us to receive us unto Himself where we will be forever with Him in the place that He has prepared for us. So, talk to Him, develop an intimacy with Him and serve Him with your all…
