The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what CANNOT BE SHAKEN MAY REMAIN. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so WORSHIP GOD ACCEPTABLY WITH REVERENCE AND AWE, for our “God is a consuming fire.” (Heb. 12:27-29)
There is much that God MUST interrupt and move out of the way, because of man’s sinful nature which has affected the whole creation of God. After Eve then Adam sinned, “…the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, “WHERE ARE YOU?” (Gen. 3:9) The Lord is not wanting to know Adam’s physical location but where he is in his RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD. The moment Adam and Eve OBEYED SATAN, their perfection in creation and the perfection of ALL THE EARTH as God creation, was TURNED OVER TO SATAN. “Satan, who is the god OF THIS WORLD, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe.” (2 Corin. 4:4)
How do we know that Satan is the god of this world? “The nursing child shall play by the COBRA’S HOLE, And the weaned child shall put his hand in the VIPER’S DEN.” (Isa. 11:8) You see, that’s how it was when Jesus created this world, all was perfection, until man sinned but it will ALL BE RESTORED when Jesus comes back to rule and reign!!!
