“…you are not in the flesh but IN THE SPIRIT, if indeed the Spirit of God DWELLS IN YOU. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he IS NOT HIS…if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but THE SPIRIT IS LIFE because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead DWELLS IN YOU, He who raised Christ from the dead will also GIVE LIFE TO YOUR MORTAL BODIES through His Spirit WHO DWELLS IN YOU.” (Rom. 8:9-11)
IF GOD’S SPIRIT, THE HOLY SPIRIT, DWELLS IN ME…
- I AM NOT IN THE FLESH BUT IN THE SPIRIT: Because I’m filled with the Holy Spirit.
- I BELONG TO CHRIST: Because I asked Jesus to forgive my sins and come into my life.
- HE WILL GIVE LIFE, THROUGH HIS SPIRIT, TO MY MORTAL BODY: Because Jesus lives in me, He has given life to my mortal body.
“I will pray the Father, and He will give you ANOTHER HELPER, that He may ABIDE (stand) WITH YOU FOREVER— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for HE DWELLS WITH YOU AND WILL BE IN YOU. I will not leave you orphans; I WILL COME TO YOU.” (John 14:16-18)
