SEARCH
Jesus said, this is what you should do, “You study (search) the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that TESTIFY ABOUT ME…” (John 5:39)
“What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived, the things God has prepared for those who love Him, THESE ARE THE THINGS GOD HAS REVEALED TO US BY HIS SPIRIT. THE SPIRIT SEARCHES ALL THINGS, even the DEEP THINGS of God.” (1 Corin. 2:9-10)
“What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, SO THAT WE MAY UNDERSTAND WHAT GOD HAS FREELY GIVEN US…words taught by the Spirit, explaining SPIRITUAL REALITIES with SPIRIT-TAUGHT WORDS. The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God…because THEY ARE DISCERNED [understood] ONLY THROUGH THE SPIRIT.” (1 Corin. 2:12-14)
As we search – God reveals! No searching – no revelation or enlightenment!
WALK
“Blessed is the one who DOES NOT WALK in step with the wicked…BUT WHOSE DELIGHT IS IN THE LAW OF THE LORD, and who MEDITATES ON HIS WORD DAY AND NIGHT. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water…WHATEVER THEY DO PROSPERS.” (Psalms 1:1-3)
“…dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” These are the people who divide you…But you, dear friends, by BUILDING YOURSELVES UP IN YOUR MOST HOLY FAITH AND PRAYING IN THE HOLY SPIRIT, KEEP YOURSELVES IN GOD’S LOVE [walk in His love, daily] as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. (Jude 1:17-21)
“This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘If you will walk in obedience to me and keep my requirements, then you will govern my house and have charge of my courts, and I WILL GIVE YOU A PLACE AMONG THESE STANDING HERE.” (Zechariah 3:7) So we will ALWAYS know where to walk!
