The LORD spoke this to Ezekiel, “Ezekiel, say to the children of your people: When the righteous turns from his righteousness and COMMITS INIQUITY, HE SHALL DIE because of it. But when the wicked turns from his wickedness and DOES WHAT IS LAWFUL AND RIGHT, HE SHALL LIVE because of it. Yet YOU SAY, ‘THE WAY OF THE LORD IS NOT FAIR.’ I will judge every one of you ACCORDING TO HIS OWN WAYS.” (Ezek. 33:18-20) The Lord is simply saying “if you sin and DO NOT REPENT, you’ll did the death of a sinner.” If you repent and do what is right YOU WILL BE FORGIVEN of your sins and live the life of a righteous person.
“…when He, THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH, has come, HE WILL GUIDE YOU INTO ALL TRUTH; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for HE WILL TAKE OF WHAT IS MINE AND DECLARE IT TO YOU.” (John 16:13-14) The Holy Spirit (the Spirit of Truth) has come to guide us into all truth! Jesus said to us,
UNTIL NOW YOU HAVE ASKED NOTHING IN MY NAME. ASK, AND YOU WILL RECEIVE, THAT YOUR JOY MAY BE FULL...(John 16:24)
