- OUR Father in heaven, Hallowed Be THY Name (hagiazō: to purify, a state of consecration (sanctification) to God), who is worthy of COMPLETE DEVOTION because GOD IS PERFECT IN GOODNESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS, set apart for worship is Your name) So, I hallow Your name.
- YOUR kingdom come.
- YOUR will be done.
- In earth (in me, as your earthen vessel) as it is in heaven.
- Give us this day our daily bread. (Jesus, is the bread of life (John 6:35) is the Word of God (John 1:1)). Man shall not live by bread alone but by EVERY WORD that comes out of the mouth of GOD… because YOUR WORD is Living and Powerful, “the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Heb. 4:12) It is the Breath of God, GOD’S WORD IN ME!!! “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Tim. 3:16-17)
- forgive us our debts, AS WE FORGIVE our debtors.
- do not lead us into temptation, But DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
