HOW EAISLY WE CHANGE, AMY…

Jesus was about to make His triumphant entry so AMY, He said, to His disciples, “Go into the village opposite you, where as you enter you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. Loose it and bring it hereThen they brought him to Jesus. And they threw their own clothes on the colt, and they set Jesus on him. And as He went, many spread their clothes on the road. Then, as He was now drawing near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen, saying: ” BLESSED IS THE KING WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD! Peace in heaven and GLORY IN THE HIGHEST!” (Luke 19:30, 35-38)

Now listen to them just six days later, “…the WHOLE MULTITUDE of them arose and led Jesus to Pilate. And they began to accuse Him, saying, “We found this fellow perverting the nation, So Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowd, “I find no fault in this Man.” But they were THE MORE FIERCE, they shouted, saying, “CRUCIFY HIM, CRUCIFY HIM!” (Luke 23:1-5, 21)

This is what the Lord showed Isaiah, Jesus is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; HE WAS DESPISED, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet WE ESTEEMED (thought of) HIM STRICKEN, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. (Isa. 53:3-5) Oh how we need to be thankful and worship Jesus for all He DID, IS DOING AND WILL DO for us!
