“…I bow my knees before the Father, praying, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be STRENGTHENED WITH POWER through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may DWELL IN YOUR HEARTS through faith;
Paul is praying a passionate prayer for us to be strengthened with God’s divine supernatural power that we would allow Jesus full access to our hearts…
HE CONTINUES ON, …that you, being rooted and grounded IN LOVE, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to KNOW THE LOVE (agapē; the true love of God.) OF CHRIST which surpasses knowledge…
It is so important to God that we understand the fullness of His love, this love allows us to love like God loves…
…that you may be FILLED UP TO ALL THE FULLNESS OF GOD. Now to Him who is able to do FAR MORE ABUNDANTLY BEYOND all that we ask or think, according to the power that WORKS WITHIN US, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus…” (Eph. 3:14-21)
It is the love of God in us that demonstrates His fullness in us, so;
“…since God so loved us, WE ALSO OUGHT TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER. No one has ever seen God; but IF WE LOVE ONE ANOTHER, God lives in us and His love is made complete in us.” (1 John 4:11-12)
How ambitious should we be of this brotherly Christian love, which God releases in us to perfect us! To this John, is making known to us the high favor of God’s dwelling in us; it is by this, we know that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He has given us His Spirit!
THIS LOVE ALLOWS US TO LOVE LIKE GOD LOVES SO THAT WE MAY BE FILLED UP TO ALLTHEFULLNESSOFGOD!
