“…beloved, DO NOT FORGET this one thing, that with the Lord ONE DAY IS AS A THOUSAND YEARS, and a thousand years as one day.” (2 Pet. 3:8) Peter was telling us to “not forget” this “One Thing”, What is this “One Thing?” On the Lords timetable one of His days is a thousand years for us.
“LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for IN PERFECT FAITHFULNESS YOU HAVE DONE WONDERFUL THINGS, THINGS PLANNED LONG AGO…You have been a refuge for the poor and needy in their distress…” (Isaiah 25:1-4) Remember on the Lord’s timeline, this is just about THREE DAYS AGO…
“On THIS MOUNTAIN “THE MOUNTAIN OF THE LORD OF HOSTS, The Holy Mountain.” (Zech. 8:3) God will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples…HE WILL SWALLOW UP DEATH FOREVER.” (Isaiah 25:7) From the moment Adam and Eve sinned, THE SHROUD OF DEATH AND FEAR has covered all mankind but, “…IN A FLASH, in the twinkling of an eye…the trumpet will sound, THE DEAD WILL BE RAISED INCORRUPTIBLE, and WE WILL BE CHANGED…O death, WHERE IS YOUR STING?” (1 Corin. 15:52, 55)
“The Sovereign LORD will WIPE AWAY THE TEARS FROM ALL FACES; He will remove His people’s disgrace from all the earth. The LORD has spoken.” (Isaiah 25:7-8) “I heard a great voice out of Heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and GOD HIMSELF WILL BE WITH THEM and be their God. And, GOD WILL WIPE AWAY ALL TEARS FROM THEIR EYES. AND THERE WILL BE NO MORE DEATH, NOR MOURNING, NOR CRYING OUT, NOR WILL THERE BE ANY MORE PAIN; FOR THE FIRST THINGS PASSED AWAY…” (Rev. 21:3-4)
