Isaiah just saw an amazing vision of Heaven and said, “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of UNCLEAN LIPS, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The LORD of hosts.” Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. And he TOUCHED MY MOUTH with it, and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity (‛âvôn: an intentional twisting of a standard.) is TAKEN AWAY, And your sin PURGED (removed).” (Isa. 6:5-7) God is no “respecter of persons” He just wanted Isaiah to see what it actually looks like when we are saved and forgiven.
We must know that we are VERY SPECIAL to the Lord AIDAN, “Even when you are chased by those who seek to kill you, your life is safe in the care of the LORD your God, secure in His treasure pouch…” (1 Sam. 25:29) David teaches us, “ I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.” (Psa. 139:14) Then to illustrate our preciousness to the Lord, He says “For I am the LORD your God…you were precious in My sight, You have been honored, And I have loved you…Fear not, for I am with you…always” (Isa. 43:3-5) Jesus tells us this, “Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are WORTH MORE than MANY sparrows.” (Luke 12:6-7)
As Isaiah was experiencing the above he said, “I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “HERE AM I! SEND ME.” (Isa. 6:8) As Steve Harvey might say on the Family Feud program, “GOOD ANSWER, ISAIAH!”
