If we want to see change happen in our lives, we’ve got to get a vision that GOES BEYOND what we have already seen and experienced. A good place to look for our new vision is in the thousands of promises contained in God’s Word. Through obedience to His Word and as we prayerfully seek His guidance and He leads us, we can claim what God has for us, for ourselves. “TEACH ME YOUR WAY, O LORD, And lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies. I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. WAIT (qâvâh: to bind together by twisting.) on the LORD; Be of good courage, And HE SHALL STRENGTHEN YOUR HEART; Wait, I say, on the LORD!” (Psa. 27:11-14)
This Greek word qâvâh used for the word “wait” describes the process of making a rope, twisting together weaker strands of fiber making them stronger as we bind them together. “…those who WAIT (qâvâh) on the LORD Shall RENEW THEIR STRENGTH; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.” (Isa. 40:31) That’s how we will be able to GIVE OUR ALL, by the Lord God Almighty RENEWING OUR STRENGTH.
