MISSION POSSIBLE…

MY INSPIRATION: An upcoming American action spy film written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie. It will be the seventh installment of the Mission: Impossible film series. I believe what inspired me about this was the actors in this film series acted as if NOTHING WAS IMPOSSIBLE. In order to achieve this stunt perfectly and not get hurt in the attempt, Tom Cruise had to undergo very hard training. The actor performed more than 500 parachute jumps and 13,000 motorcycle jumps. For high-risk scenes like these, it is very important that the actor prepares well, so as not to endanger his life.

MY FAVORITE INSPIRATIONAL CHARACTER: David was my favorite character in this vision. Instead of practicing hundreds of times HE TRUSTED GOD, “…when I am afraid, I will PUT MY TRUST IN YOU. I praise God for what He has promised. I TRUST IN GOD, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?(Psa. 56:3-4) Why could David have such trust in God? Because our God is totally all powerful, OMNISCIENCE, Ah Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your GREAT POWER and by Your outstretched arm! NOTHING is too difficult for You…” (Jer. 32:17) Two times each day for 40 days, morning and evening, 9’6” the ungodly Goliath, champion of the Philistines, comes out between the lines and challenges the Israelites to send out a champion to decide the outcome, but king Saul is afraid. David hears the insults toward God and wonders why everyone is so afraid. David, TRUSTING GOD, accepts the challenge. Saul reluctantly agrees and offers his armor, which David declines, TAKING ONLY his staff, A SLING and FIVE STONES from a brook.

Goliath said to David, “Come to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the airDavid said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the NAME OF THE LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the LORD will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you…” (1 Sam. 17:44-46)

With no REHEARSAL, no PRACTICE SHOTS, David went in the name of the Lord. David put his hand in his bag and took out a stone; and he slung it and struck Goliath in his forehead, so that the stone sank into his forehead, and he fell on his face to the earth. So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stoneDavid ran and stood over the Goliath, took his sword and cut off his head with it. And when the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, THEY FLED.(1 Sam. 17:49-51)

WHATEVER CHALLENGES THE DEVIL PRESENTS TO US, WE WILL OVERCOME BECAUSE WE SERVE AN OMNISCIENCE GOD
